The tasting notes on the nose and mouth confirm Marvão Chestnut Gin as a gin with full and sensorial involvement, in which there is a citrus touch, like a ray of sun that breaks through the clouds of a rainy day. It is the promise fulfilled, the journey completed and the gin revealed as a work of art by nature and the distillery. It's a dance of flavours and aromas, where the palate is the spectator and the glass is the stage.

This gin is macerated inside the copper still, where it is subsequently distilled, and is produced using the London Dry method, meaning it is the product of a unique distillation.

Test results

On the nose: a gin with a warm mountain aroma and coated with a soft touch of roasted chestnuts that does not disguise the roasted touch, both of the chestnut and the coffee.

In the mouth: a gin that surprises due to the contrast between aroma and flavor. In the mouth you can also feel the warm winter mountain and the touch of roasted chestnuts, but it adds a floral sweetness.

Throughout, there is a citrus touch that balances and harmonizes the gin.
